Taxes generated by cannabis sales are in the billions, while the marijuana industry is one of the fastest growing employers in the U.S.

A new study projects cannabis sales will continue to soar over the next several years, reaching $33 billion in 2022 and $52 billion by 2026.

That’s more than triple the number from five years ago, according to the latest jobs report from Leafly and Whitney Economics

If sales trends continue over the next few years, experts project it will support more than 500,000 cannabis industry jobs across the country.
